Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Arm.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer. Factors like hormones, medications, and genetics affect timing; schedule appointments every four to six weeks for consistent results.

You may feel brief stinging during waxing, but discomfort is usually short-lived. Our technicians use quick, precise techniques, quality wax and soothing post-care to reduce pain. Use gentle exfoliation and avoid caffeine beforehand; topical numbing can be discussed if needed.

Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils. Hair should be at least a quarter-inch long to adhere properly. Avoid heavy sun exposure, tanning and exfoliation 24–48 hours before your appointment for best results.

Waxing can cause ingrown hairs for some people. Prevent them by exfoliating gently 48 hours after treatment, using non-comedogenic moisturizers, and scheduling consistent waxing appointments. If persistent, we offer professional treatments and guidance to reduce and treat ingrowns.

For best results, hair should be about a quarter to a half inch (6–12 mm) long so wax grips properly. If shorter, wait a week or two; if longer, a light trim improves comfort.

Avoid waxing if you’re using oral isotretinoin (Accutane) or other contraindicated medications, have open wounds, active skin infections, severe eczema, or recent sunburn. Consult our technician or physician if pregnant, on medications or unsure about skin conditions.
