During a consultation we select pigment and map your lip shape. A topical numbing is applied, then the pigment is deposited with a fine needle. Procedure takes about 60–90 minutes including prep; expect minor swelling and a follow-up touch-up in 6–8 weeks.

Results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Most clients enjoy defined color for 1–3 years. Annual or biannual touch-ups prolong vibrancy. Pale or oily lips may fade faster and require more frequent maintenance.

Most clients experience mild discomfort but not intense pain. We apply topical numbing before and during the treatment to minimize sensitivity. Numbing duration and additional measures are discussed during consultation to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

Common temporary effects include swelling, redness, and minor tenderness for a few days. Rare risks include infection, allergic reaction, or uneven pigment. We minimize risks by following strict sterilization, patch testing, and aftercare instructions; contact us if you notice prolonged symptoms.

Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, certain supplements) for several days unless approved by your physician. Skip Botox or laser around the mouth for two weeks prior. Stay hydrated, avoid sunburn, and arrive with no lipstick or lip balm.

Keep the area clean and dry, avoid picking scabs, and apply recommended ointment. Avoid heavy exercise, hot baths, saunas, and sun exposure for about two weeks. Expect initial darker color that softens during healing; follow up for touch-up at six to eight weeks.
