Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash Extensions - Volume/Hybrid.

With regular care, an initial set lasts three to four weeks before natural lash shedding requires a fill. Maintenance is recommended every two to four weeks depending on growth cycle, lifestyle, and desired fullness.

When applied by certified technicians using appropriate adhesive and proper isolation, volume and hybrid extensions are safe. We assess lash strength and recommend styles that protect natural lashes; proper aftercare and regular fills also minimize risk of damage.

Initial full sets usually take ninety to one hundred fifty minutes depending on desired volume and eye symmetry. Hybrid sets fall between classic and volume timing. Fills are shorter, typically forty-five to sixty minutes depending on retention and regrowth.

We advise avoiding mascara and mechanical curlers; they can clump, stress bonds, and damage extensions. Water-based mascaras formulated for extensions may be used sparingly on lower lashes only. Gentle silicone brushes keep lashes tidy without harming bonds.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid oil-based products for twenty-four hours prior. Remove contacts or bring a case and solution; plan to relax and keep eyes closed during application. Mention allergies and prior lash treatments at consultation.

Avoid oil-based cleansers and steam for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Gently cleanse daily with an extension-safe foam or micellar water, brush with a clean spoolie, sleep on your back when possible, and schedule fills every two to four weeks.
